Each Year 11 student is in a fortnightly tutorial class and is assigned a tutor. Tutorials are part of our curriculum and attendance is mandatory. Topics include learning skills, welfare issues and important topics concerning young adults including relationships, drugs, driver education and are an opportunity for students to alert us to any problems settling into the new campus. Tutorials also cover the mandatory 25 hour Crossroads program.

In Year 12, students move to smaller Mentor Groups. Students are able to nominate a staff member to be their mentor for the duration of Year 12. Mentoring is mandatory as it provides an opportunity to monitor and support Year 12 students in the lead-up to the HSC. Important areas are addressed in mentoring, including stress management, study skills, career planning and HSC preparation. In addition, essential information is given to students about university and TAFE courses and entry requirements, careers workshops, course opportunities, Board of Studies information and HSC requirements.
