The GRC Oatley Senior Campus SRC is the peak student representative body in the campus. It is made up of 32 students, and includes the School Captains, Vice Captains and the SRC President. Students are elected to the SRC by their peers for both Year 11 and Year 12.
The Role of the SRC
The SRC's roles are to:
- represent the school
- represent the student voice
- organise school and student events
- develop the leadership and organisational skills of students
- connect with the other GRC Campuses
- work within the school's community
Regular Events and Initiatives
The SRC is involved in running, organising and participating in the following events:
- charity fundraisers
- school mufti days
- Year 12 end of year events
- school assemblies
- presentation evenings and graduation
- staff v student sport games
- rollover day
- student leadership conference
- Sydney Region SRC meetings
The SRC has held the following major events:
- Shave for a Cure
- Jeans for Genes Day
- Valentine's Day
- Random Acts of Kindness Week
- Disaster Relief Mufti Days
