Enrolment

Our school can help with enrolment queries throughout the year.

Local enrolment area

Check your address on School Finder to see if it is within our local intake area. Most schools have designated local enrolment areas. Note: local enrolment areas are subject to change.

How to enrol

If you live in our intake area and would like to apply to enrol at our school, start by submitting an online enrolment application. Online enrolment is currently only available for Australian or New Zealand citizens and permanent residents.

If you are not able to apply online or you prefer not to, download the paper application to enrol (PDF 768.4KB) form. Please complete the form in English. A translated application to enrol may help you do this.

Online enrolment can also be used for out-of-area enrolment. Please note that out-of-area enrolment procedures are subject to the department’s enrolment policy.

Enrolment applications are finalised at the school.

Frequently asked questions

Non-local enrolment applications are only considered if the student can be accommodated below the set local enrolment buffer level. Non-local enrolment applications include the Application to enrol in a NSW Government school and a non-local enrolment application form. Criteria for non-local enrolment applications will be made as a holistic decision across all criteria. No single criterion will guarantee selection.

GRC Oatley Senior Campus is a culturally diverse coeducational senior high school that welcomes international students from a range of countries. International students must submit an application to enrol to DE International and are assessed against departmental and legislative requirements for eligibility. Students must have a student visa issued by the Department of Immigration and Border Protection and an Authority to Enrol (ATE) issued by DE International to enrol.

Temporary residents must submit an application to the Temporary Residents Program to enrol in a NSW Government school in accordance with the Enrolment of Non Australian Citizens - Procedures and Eligibility. International students and temporary residents seeking to enrol from another NSW Government school, a non-government school or from outside NSW must be referred to DE International and the Temporary Resident Program.
