Get involved at GRC Oatley Senior Campus

Georges River College Oatley Senior Campus enjoys a strong relationship with its school community. We value the ongoing support and contribution the parent body and broader community makes towards the school’s priorities, values and culture.

Parents participation

Parents/carers are actively encouraged to participate in school activities, attend school functions and communicate regularly with your young adult’s teachers via email, parent teacher nights and though arranged meetings.

The staff are committed to working with parents/carers in education of their young adult to ensure the best possible results. More positive results occur to students when parents show interest and give their time to support their child.

Parents/carers are kept informed of school activities regularly through emails, text message, newsletters, information notes and information evenings. The campus and college website is also available.

Parents and citizens' association

GRC Oatley has an active P&C which meets on the last Monday of the month. All parents are invited to attend meetings and become active members. The funds donated by parents to the P&C via school fees are made available to the school to purchase school resources and upgrade the site to meet the demands and learning needs of 21st Century learners.

Community groups

Our school works closely with a number of organisations. We are fortunate to have supportive relationships with the NRL, St George Illawarra Dragons, 3 Bridges, Oatley RSL, Mortdale RSL, Lions Club, NSW Police, White Ribbon Australia, Commonwealth Bank Mortdale, Commonwealth Bank Oatley and numerous local businesses and clubs.
