As part of our commemorative assembly, we recited The Ode and listened to "The Fallen" by Laurence Binyon:
"They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them."
We will remember them.
Lest we forget.
A heartfelt thank you to our wonderful MCs and presenters who led the ceremony with dignity and care. Your words reminded us of the importance of remembering those who gave so much for the freedom we enjoy today.
